Sunrise Preschool strives to create an environment that is fun, safe and creative to meet the developmental needs of all children at every age and stage of development. We believe that the first few years of development are the most important and influential years of life and because of this we work together as a community to meet the needs of each child and family to reach their full potential. Sunrise Preschool has the trained staff and resources to meet the needs of all children. We believe that children learn best through their social interactions with other peers of their age and gender.

Our vision is to offer a fun , energetic problem solving age appropriate curriculum. We created a peaceful stress free learning environment that offers small intimate family preschool interactions. Our goal is to make every child and families feel like home away from home.

Mission

Our mission is to plant the seed of learning, by cultivating the garden of flowers into future innovative scholars by interpreting and reflecting positive feelings and expressions. We encourage children to resolve conflicts, promote positive self-esteem, help develop problem solving skills, and most importantly make each child feel important, confident, and valued to bloom.

Philosophy

At Sunrise our philosophy is that learning should not be boxed in. Learning should be explored outside of the box. We believed that learning is all around us rather its taking place inside or outside of the classroom. The most successful teachable moments are best developed through guided fun and imaginative instructional play experiences.

Tori has been attending Sunrise Preschool since last June. She started off kind of rocky. All she wanted to do was play. When I say my child as done a complete 360 in less then a year time. Now, don't get me wrong she has her moments, but Tori is now able to identify here letters, writing letter (she still needs a little practice), knows different AB patterns, site words, shapes, spells her name out loud as well as writes it, and the list wanted to be. When I was decided to enroll Tori I wanted sure I was getting my money back, and praise God Tamika has sent well above and beyond my expectations. I thank God to be a part of your preschool. Can't wait till August for TJ to return.

I searched high and low for a Daycare for my grandson Tyler. I have to say he enjoys going to daycare everyday. And Mrs. Tamika does a awesome job with the kids. Very satisfied with my choice.

Ms. Tamika is one in a million. She is Mary Poppins, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Nanny McPhee all rolled into one. Ms. Tamika loves what she does and it shows. Ms. Tamika loves what she does and it shows. My husband and I are so grateful for Sunrise Preschool and Ms. Tamika. My son is so happy at Sunrise. We previously attended another daycare and my son was very sad, unhappy and was usually angry when we picked him up. We made the move to Sunrise and now he cries when it's time to go home and runs to get inside in the mornings. I can't say enough about Sunrise. If you need childcare contact them you won't regret it!

Sunrise Preschool leaves me speechless. It's a place to have fun, a place to learn, a place to be nurtured, a place to practice independence, and a place where parents can leave their little ones and now they are safe. My son is learning social skills, imagery, sign language, colors, alphabets, yoga, dance and so much more. Oh yes my baby boy is only 28months and is potty trained and has been for about a month. Ms. Tamia is one in a million. She is Mary Poppins, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Nanny McPhee all rolled into one. Ms. Tamika loves what she does and its shows. My husband and I are so grateful for Sunrise Preschool and Ms. Tamika. My son is so happy at Sunrise. I would recommend anyone take their child. Our daughter learned so much and some days wouldn't want to come home. Mrs. Tamika is an amazing teacher and educator and has a genuine love and a great way of dealing with her kids.

Omg! My kids loves Ms. Mika! There has been a big improvement on the kids school! I highly recommend this preschool/before & after school program! They get a 5 star from me easily!!

Sunrise Preschool is awesome!! Tamika interaction with the children is amazing! The environment is welcoming and comforting when the kids come they never want to go home!!
